The Garnet Valley Jaguar Varsity Cheerleaders recently pulled out a win as District champions, along with the JV Jaguars who also earned #1 in their section of the competition! Last year, 2017, they won District Championships, so this year they went back to back in victory. The District Championships took place at Central Bucks High School South on December 1st. GVHS Varsity cheerleaders performed at approximately 7:26 pm and throughout the evening. The Cheerleaders prepared for this competition with many after school practices and lengthy weekend practices. JV and Varsity practice separately, but typically within in the same time frame. The cheerleaders practiced everyday after school leading up to the competition and their hard work certainly paid off! Some of the GVHS cheerleaders described this feeling as a completely different sensation than any other and one of the greatest and happiest they ever felt before. Tears were spread out of pure joy when they were announced as DISTRICT CHAMPIONS! Congratulations GVHS Varsity Cheerleaders on the big win!
