Over the course of this winter season, Interact Club has been hosting a variety of events, in particular consistently promoting the performance Dance For A Cure which will take place at Garnet Valley High School this coming May. A great way for dancers, students, and members of the community to connect and work together, Dance For A Cure is a spectacular show in which dance companies and dance teams perform various routines in order to raise money and awareness for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. During the next few weeks, Dance For A Cure staff will be promoting the event by selling snacks such as cookies, brownies, and hot chocolate by the cafeteria around the same time that the band and chorus concerts are going on in the auditorium; the specific dates of these concerts are December 10th, 12th, 17th, and 18th.
Dance For A Cure is an amazing experience through which members of Interact can connect with and positively impact both the Garnet Valley School District as well as those involved with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The dance routines are always exciting to watch, and the donations provided by the school and surrounding community are going towards a very good cause. Please come out over the course of the next few weeks and purchase snacks from the Dance For A Cure station while taking part in watching the band and chorus concerts. Also, encourage friends, family, and others to spread word about the event and mark their calendars so Garnet Valley can contribute the greatest benefits possible towards the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
