Alanna Hagerty

While attending the GVHS Art Show, there were many incredible pieces that stood out; one specifically that caught my eye was a photograph by Aimee Schwartz. The focus of the image was “Peace on Earth”, and there were Christmas lights splayed around the letters. The photo was captivating and colorful, and the contrast of the shades and shapes in the image were interesting and appealing to look at. Whenever one looked at the picture, something new and exciting popped up that he or she had not noticed before. The photo was truly visually incredible and stood out on the wall of dozens of other images. Overall, I loved the photograph, and the rest of the artist’s work was amazing as well.
