Amazing dancing, incredible community, outstanding charity… Garnet Valley High School’s Interact Club is excited to share one of its most organized, fun events… Dance For A Cure! This spectacular program is comprised of a performance put on by various dance studios and teams all executing different dance styles such as jazz, contemporary, and ballet. In order to watch the stunning show, people can buy tickets at the door; it is $5.00 per child, $8.00 per senior citizen, and $10.00 per adult to attend the performance. Dance For A Cure is an opportunity for dancers to not only display what they love to do for other people, but the program also contributes all of the ticket money as donations for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in order to assist those with cancer. If one is unable to attend the Dance For A Cure performance but would like to still donate to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, please make a check out to Garnet Valley High School Interact Club.
While attending the dance performance, raffles, Sweet Frog, Dance For A Cure spirit wear, and several other products can be purchased. If one would like to buy spirit wear ahead of time rather than waiting until the actual performance, feel free to contact the head student organizer of Dance For A Cure , Christina Mercincavage, at cnmerc2000@gmail.com; Christina will either directly mail or email a form to him or her, and he or she can then give the money for the spirit wear to either Christina or the school. Occurring on Saturday, May 5th, at 6:00 pm, Dance For A Cure is an enjoyable experience that students, faculty, and the entire Garnet Valley community can become a part of. With the great dancing, raffle awards, and support for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Dance For A Cure is sure to be a success.
