GV Artwork selected for National Juried K-12 Ceramic Exhibition

Congratulations to  Brianna Ciamaichelo!

Her submission entitled “Stevie,” a wheel throw ceramic vase, for grade 11  has been accepted for display at this year’s national juried exhibition, held in conjunction with the annual international conference of NCECA, The National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts. The exhibition will be held in Pittsburg, PA in March.

Brianna has been commended for the quality of her work and can be very proud for having attained this level of achievement. The work submitted at all levels was outstanding.   Seen as part of the larger frame of current work from all schools, these submissions demonstrate the inspirational impact ceramic education is having upon a wide range of students.

Again this year an enormous number of entries were submitted for review in total 1203 with only 150 selected for the exhibition. The selection process was very difficult, as there was so much outstanding work submitted.

Again, we offer our hearty congratulations to Brianna for this honor.
