GV Girls’ Lacrosse Fall Ball

Lacrosse season is not until the spring, but that is not stopping the girls JV and Varsity Lax Team. Since they are not in season right now, they are doing fall ball, a time where the girls of the lacrosse team get an early start on preseason. Doing Fall Ball not only gives the girls practice with their stick work and technique but also gives them a great opportunity to get to know one another and bond as a team. The girls lacrosse team has scrimmages at Radnor High School, during which the teams break off and have seperate games for both varsity and JV.  Since the JV team consists of freshman, sophomores, and juniors, there are a couple of different ages on the field at all times. The games are typically in the morning on Sundays, ranging from the turf field to the grass field. The team has played Agnes Irwin, Notre Dame, Penncrest, Radnor, and Abington. Though the scores of the games are not being kept, that is not stopping the team from playing their hardest and giving 110%. The coach of this amazing team is Ms. Purvis. In the end, I think that doing fall ball is going to result in a great season full of victories, good times, and great experiences.
