Special Congratulations to Students

Garnet Valley has had a lot of students to be proud of recently. Here are just a few people to congratulate!

Here are some excellent GV students who placed in the top three in their categories at the National History Day competition Friday night at Chester County Historical Society. They have each earned a trip to the state NHD competition May 12/13th in Carlisle, PA!

Andrew Li and Xavier Zhang – 2nd place Group Website “Japanese Westernization”

Arya Vandayar – 2nd Place Individual Paper “Indira Gandhi ‘Taking A Stand In Feminism’”

Also, Sophia Filippone and Bryan Manzano made All-State Band! Bryan and Sophia are ranked 1st and 2nd in the state. Congrats!

Our drum line competed at Avon Grove High School on March 19. They placed 2nd with an 81.6. This is the earliest our drum line has broken into the 80’s to date. The show is based on Plato’s Cave. All of this work is original and was written by two of our staff members. Great job drum line!

Lastly, Lainie Beauchemin, Kitty Rossi, and Natalia Orliovsky have all qualified as semifinalists for the USA Biology Olympiad Exam that will be given on this Friday, March 31.

Way to go Garnet Valley Students!
