The German Club attended the Christmas Market in Philadelphia on the 21st. The trip is meant to expose the students to culture. At the market, the students have access to many German foods and treats. They get to see many German crafts and it is a wonderful way for the students to celebrate Christmas. The market has vendors selling hot chocolate, Bratwurst, doner kebabs, and other German foods. Along with German culture, the students visit vendors selling goods from Russia, Nepal, Guatemala, and other places. All of the vendors support small businesses, some local, artists, and crafters, including jewelry, clothing, scarves, bags, paintings, photography, and knick-knacks, and toys.
