College Applications

College application season is now in full swing and Seniors who have not completed their essays are frantically rushing to do so, with a rapidly approaching early action/decision deadline of November 1 for many universities. Though regular decision deadlines are still a while away (January or February for many schools), some colleges require applicants to finish earlier to receive priority consideration for scholarships or honors college admission. Penn State, for example, has a Schreyer Honors College priority filing deadline of November 30th. So, Seniors, though you could wait until February to finish your apps, you might want to get them out of the way as soon as possible.
