Mini-THON 2016

Friday, April 15th to Saturday, April 16th, Garnet Valley High School held Mini-THON, a fundraiser benefiting kids fighting cancer. Students who participated in Mini-THON  arrived at the school around 7:00 on Friday night, and then left 7:00 Saturday morning. There was music, dancing, food, games, and a lot of fun for the participants. But there was one catch- you were not allowed to sit down the entire night. It was a daunting challenge for many, but through friends, music, and the energy of Mini-THON, everyone got through the pain in their feet. Best of all, GVHS alone raised $76,432.62 for kids with cancer, over $10,000 more than last year’s Mini-THON! Overall, the night may have been filled with aching feet and sleeplessness, but everyone had a blast, and above all, we did it for the kids.
